Collaborating with UNICEF for Newborn Health: FPHS’ Contribution to INAP Technical Advisory Group

FPHS is proud to have supported the India Newborn Action Plan (INAP) Technical Advisory Group (TAG) meeting, held on 27th Oct 2022 in New Delhi, organized and jointly hosted by UNICEF India and MoHFW, India. The meeting was attended by eminent experts including Dr. Siddarth Ramji, Dr. Ashok Deorari, MD Dip NB FAMS FNNF, Dr. NK Arora, Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dr. Piyush Gupta, along with Smt. Roli Singh, Additional Secretary & MD, (NHM), Dr. Sumita Ghosh, Additional Commissioner In Charge(Child Health, RBSK, AH, CAC & AD), MohFW, Dr. P. Ashok Babu, Joint Secretary, MoHFW.

INAP is a critical area of work for FPHS, and we have been actively involved in supporting the Bottleneck Analysis work for mid-term review of INAP. Our team has also provided an ODK-based tool and conducted subsequent data analysis to enhance the effectiveness of this vital initiative.

We are committed to contributing towards the success of INAP, which aims to improve newborn health outcomes in India, and we are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with UNICEF India and MoHFW on this important initiative.
