Welcome to FPHS!
FPHS is a not-for-profit organization with head office in New Delhi, aims to promote and build people-centred, resilient and sustainable primary health care (PHC)-oriented health systems and services, which are accessible, available affordable for the last person in the society.
FPHS aims to achieve this goal through work in areas of health policy and strategy, community-based outreach services and delivery of primary healthcare services through a participatory approach. It has a focus on engaging community and advocating for public health issues, so that actionable solutions can be developed and implemented to resolve these issues.
At FPHS, we remain committed to our mission of strengthening primary health services and promoting equitable, quality, and accessible healthcare for all. Over the past year, we have made great strides in our efforts, from contributing to the mid-term review of the India New Born Action Plan to establishing a three-year partnership with Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (IAPSM). We have also launched a community-based initiative for healthy schools and mental health of the students, aiming to reach 4000 children across government and private sectors by the end of 2023. Additionally, we have utilized photography as a tool to communicate complex health issues and simplify technicalities into visual and easy-to-understand content.
